What is a Certified Tile Installer (CTI) ?

The Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) provides education and installer certification for professionals working in the ceramic tile and stone industry.
The CTEF Certified Tile Installer (CTI) program is the only third-party assessment of installer skill and knowledge which is recognized by the tile industry.

At J&R Tile, we believe education, standards, and quality are what set us apart. That's why every J&R installer undergoes the comprehensive certification process to become a Certified Tile Installer.

What is an Advanced Certified Tile Installer (ACT)?

Our installers are ACT-certified, which is basically the gold standard in our industry – think of it as the advanced degree for tile pros. Six major tile organizations got together to create this program because they wanted a way to identify installers who really know their stuff when it comes to tricky installations like large-format tile, waterproofing, and custom showers. Our team didn't just take a test – they had to prove their skills in real-world conditions with independent experts watching. So when we're working on your project, you know you're getting someone who's been put through the wringer and came out on top.
